The Yorks & Humberside contest announced for the 15th Feb has recieved enough entries to go ahead.

The early date for the close of entries was to allow the Conference centre management to make the arrangements for the bar etc. This has now been extended and entries will now be accepted up to Dec 28th

More details will be put on

That's great news Peter. I hope that the entries keep coming in and that it will all add up to a very successful day.

(Sadly we can't be there - we've a big event planned in Harrogate that day which was on the books before the Y & H date was announced).

Out of interest, has the adjudicator been announced, or will it be kept secret 'till the day of the contest?

The Adjudicator is as was announced in the Association minutes - Colin Hardy

Rehearsal/Changing facilities are available ON SITE. If you wish to avail yourself of this please arrive one hour earlier than is shown on your Instructions to Bands. Unfortunately the Association does not have enough stands to fill all the rehearsal rooms so please bring your own for this.

The Association stands will be on stage.
