The new Freckleton CD has just arrived here now, and has 2 Compositions and an arrangement by Ben. Big things to come no doubt.....

His 'special' arrangment of "Don't stop me now" for 12 tenor horns was a classic!

it's fantastic! ben is a top bloke, and this is the second band i have been in alongside ben (having been in freckleton with him, before ybs), and he's not only a talented arranger/composer, he is a talented player as well.

it's fabulous that he is the new composer in residence, having already played one of his new pieces with ybs (and given the world premiere in morley town hall of the piece), and also recording some with freckleton (as andy has mentioned) he is very promising as a composer. i look forward to hearing, and playing more compositions by him :)

Having known Ben for a number of years, I have seen him rapidly progress into a mature composer, and must add my sincere congratulations regarding his recent appointment.

    Nice one Ben.
