The Worcestershire Youth Brass Band has recently launched it's own website.

You can now find the latest news and information about forthcoming events at the click of a mouse at www.wybb.co.uk

The band, conducted by Nicki Daw, took part in the Worcestershire Youth Music Gala Concert held at Birmingham's Symphony Hall on Sunday 18th May and performed to a packed and appreciative audience. They opened the evenings proceedings with the 'Fanfare To The Common Man' featuring a fanfare of cornets stretching along the length of the grand organ of Symphony Hall and followed this with the endearing 'Softly As I Leave You' featuring euphonium soloists Charlotte Daw and Andrew Kings. They finished their contribution with a lively performance of Philip Harper's 'Salsa Pa Gozar' which had the whole hall rocking!!

WYBB, who recently received a silver award at the 2008 National Youth Championships in Manchester are also in the middle of raising funds for the band's first tour to Australia this August.
