Well folks, it looks like another (?) sunny one this year. All forecasts for Friday so far indicate wall to wall sunshine with maximums in the mid 20s. Don't forget your shades! Feel free to add any more local observations and reputable forecasts as the week goes on!

Hope the pubs are going to be well stocked then. Should be a warm and thirsty night.

And your sun cream - we played in the Whit Sunday marches at Stalybridge yesterday and the top of my rapidly thinning head got more than a bit burnt.

I've set my accuweather firefox extension to Delph mode!! Looks sunny spells for the rest of the week. Although there may be an afternoon shower on wednesday.

What about the poor adjudicators - sat in a claustrophobic caravan that heats up like a sauna and not allowed out to the pub while we all enjoy the glorious sunshine - you could almost feel sorry for them ........... well, almost. ;)

Won't be a problem Ron - they'll have fellow members of their Lodge fanning them down! ;)

I don't want (if you'll pardon the unusually apt expression) to rain on anyone's parade, but
........the forecasters are starting to mutter about rare isolated thunderstorms over high ground on Friday evening / Saturday - mainly further North in the Western Dales / Cumbria but.....

Heat + marching + waiting in line = large amounts of lager consumption
