Has anyone figured out the Tameside Open results yet? The points and placings posted on the main webiste don't seem to add up properly

    Whit Friday Band Scores

Is it possible to get the full breakdown of scores for the contests anywhere on the internet??

^ those are the ones that don't add up quite right Stopher....

  14. Am querying that one... We (City of Bradford) appear to have placed 4th on points on both the main results & the Heyrod website but seem to have been relegated to a lesser prize on account of being a 2nd section outfit. Anyone able to clarify? Is there a rule we have missed?

Worth arguing the toss for £50!

Indeed not. Hebden Bridge definitely got round nine contests - as is shown by the top half of the spreadsheet - but are only classified at five contests in the lower half - and I was under the impression that they took your best six results? Most Curious......

  16. Hi

I can confirm that the points on the top half of the tameside results sheet are 100% accurate, but the placings/village at the bottom are not.

Reason I know the points are accurate as they tally with scores I was told by each contest organiser this morning when they checked our comments sheet.

We worked out placings ourselves based solely on points of us and others.

Absolutely cracking whit friday with nice weather for a change :) we did 8 tameside and then did delph and were finished and drinking in delph at 9pm!

    Roll on next year...

how can you be 100% sure?!
Some of the points and placings definitely don't tally up (eg. Heyrod which flugaliser mentioned), our points on that spreadsheet for one contest are different from what the contest rep told me over the phone earlier today, and it says we were 11th overall even though we're the 12th band listed... I'm really not convinced!

today's admin aside, it was a great evening in Tameside and huge thanks need to go to all the organisers and stewards. Decent waiting times, we got to hear some great bands around us, and its always nice to stay dry :)

Just looking on the results, fodens are shown as 182 points at stalybridge which we won and 138 points at duckinfield which is nearly 50 points behind the band who i think got 2nd?

Hi Mark, Looking at the spreadsheet, a column is missing from the final placings, there is no positional placing for Duckinfield Contest and I think therefore that some of the placings are incorrect because of this. Regarding your 138 at Duckinfield, I think the adjudicator had gone for a comfort break......................didn't hear you there but heard a number of your performances and it was superb, but my band got a lot more points at that venue........decidedly dodgy.........

  20. Re. The spreadsheet: I think all the columns have been shifted across to the left one place from the top half, so Thirteen ball, your five results now become six. They seem to have done this to allow for a total column on the rhs. Or so it seems to me!
