Sounds like it will be a good contest. I am hoping to come and listen, so may see you there.

Hoping Deepcar can make it along to play next year too!

It seems the event time is now 3.45 - sneaky change on website page - but suns nearly out and there's 3 pubs all with burgers and Bbqs

    Bands attending today were
    Altofts & Normanton
    South Yorkshire Police Band
    Thurlsone Training Band

    Winning bands

1st Section - South Yorkshire Police Band

Most entertaining band - I think was Worsbrough

Correct, and Best Instrumentalist was Bb (?) Bass at Cawthorne. Fantastic day, really was. For a first time event to have at least 200 people at any given point from start to finish really proves how enjoyable event this was to be part off. Congrats to Rob and the team, hope to be back next year!

A great day, just a pity that I had to leave so early. Hopefully more bands will enter next year. I know of one that will ;)
