Does anyone know which band played outside an audition venue for the x-factor? Not the marching band but the one on the steps that was caught on camera for 2 seconds. It looked like Black Dyke's uniform.

The band which played to welcome the X-Factor celebreties

You are right it was Stannington Brass Band from Sheffield that had the privilege of playing on X-Factor  when the celebreties arrived at the City Hall in Sheffield.

No reason why a band can't apply to go on Britains got talent though and they're advertising for acts now

Oh yea. I can see it now. Lo and behold a band gets through to the finals and in the process giving the banding world the greatest boost it`s had for decades. What`s the betting you`ll get the blinkered hundreds calling for that band to play something `arty` to show that banding needs to be treated `seriously`.
