What's everyone up to this Easter?

  1. Thought, I'd be a bit random and start a convo going.

    Is anyone doing anything exciting?

I'm stuck at work all weekend and Monday, while my family go away. Pfft!

Going home am I, going home. See the family. See the friends (which will take 5 minutes, I don't have many  ) and to get absolutely sloshed with my oldest brother who ships out to Afghanistan in just over a month.

It's Sophie's 4th birthday today so we've had a house full of small people playing while the adults socialise too!!! Much fun, starting to wind down now though!

I love it when the little tykes tire themselves out. It means I can have a bit of me time and put the playstation on while they sleep   :tup

Off to Disneyland Paris tomorrow night for three days! Kids are really looking forward to it.

Dyl - You AND the kids will have an absolutely fantastic time. Me and Aardvark did this with our nieces a while ago and the look on their faces was an absolute joy. Their parents quite enjoyed it too.

This Easter we are just enjoying a day out of the four (tomorrow) with family and little 'uns and the other three......well.......doing our own thing ;)

Was it Disney Land that had the advert where the kids couldn't sleep because they were too excited?

You won't sleep dyl! You'll be too excited!

It's a shame we don't live closer, I could have done with Sophie having Chicken Pox for Easter. I'm trying my hardest but she hasn't managed to catch it yet!

Thanks Rach, we had a lovely day and I didn't celebrate tooooo much!

Just finished a 3 night run of Brassed off at Wakefield Theatre and tomorrow we travel to the Isle of Man to do another performance in a competition for the theatre group.

Here's hoping for a smooth crossing, or the band may be the same colour as our ties.

I'm at home with just Annabelle today. Deb's working and our other kids are off with their respective other parents, so I have a quiet day, just me and the youngest watching a feast of Chelsea v Arsenal and Man U v Liverpool football, interspersed with bits of the F1 Malasian Grand Prix!

Oh yeah, and Barney, Shrek, Little Princess and an endless stream of reading books to my little princess here.

Just chilling out, catching up on some DVDs and CDs, and vainly trying to get up to date on all the Facebook applications I've been sent.

Don't you just hate all those facebook apps - I've resorted to ignoring all when I get soooo many.

I am recovering at the moment with a hangover and waiting for my little girl to rise out of her pit (but hopefully not too soon as we didn't get in until 5am!)

Today I'm having a completely lazy day round the house with the wife and am loving it!
  19. Well, my parents have abadonned me yet again (ok, so I'm 19 and can look after myself) to go and watch their beloved Gretna play Celtic. Some of us had to be at work for 8am and now I'm just about to start a huge pile of ironing :(

Bought a car. Traded in my nice Leon Cupra and joined the ranks of anonymous Focus drivers.
This afternoon I will be mostly falling asleep in front of the Malaysian F1 GP 'race'.
