What elements do you think make a good band website?
Could you point me to a few good examples?
(I am creating a beta design for our website version 2.0)

a "meet the band" section is good so people viewing the website can see who's in the band.

    1. An up to date listing of the band's events, both upcoming and past (with reports on the past ones).

    2. A listing of the membership, with profiles.

    3. Spell and grammar check, please.

    4. A color scheme that won't cause people to have seizures (nothing flashing or blinking).

    5. A clear menu/navigation. You want people to be able to find your information.

And, please, DO NOT have music that automatically plays on any page in the site. Nothing is more annoying than having loud music suddenly blaring out of your speakers. If you want to put a sample on, by all means do so (assuming that you have copyright clearance, of course). Just don't make it automatically play when I open the page.
