I'm going for Rammstein's 'Rosenrot'. Rumours are that this album is immense, even if it's in German!

The new Elgar Howarth CD from Eikanger, available next month; and the new album also by Eikanger of Howard Snell arrangements, whenever it becomes available.

Gorillaz album looks good, and the Brass Band Aid CD is on my Christmas list! And hopefully the new "Now thats What I Call Brass" one will be mine soon.

Boredom and my impulsive streak got me buying a couple of CDs from eBay during the last couple of days. Got delivery of James Stobart conducting the London Collegiate Brass (1986). Works are The First Shoot (Walton), Festal Brass With Blues (Tippett), Russian Funeral March (Britten) and A Downland Suite (Ireland). Trumpets/french horns replace cornets/tenor horns in this recording.

    Next CD I buy?

Brass Band - Probably "Breezin" by Wigston. Shameless plug maybe, but also the truth...:)

"normal" music ;) : Well I have to say after a long time I'm starting to "get" Gorillaz - OK it's taken a while but sometimes I'm a bit slow catching up with the "Kids" - especially now im "middle aged" ;) . So I reckon the "Demon Days" could well be on the shopping list, that is if I haven't already got it without knowing (if you know what I mean), either that or the Magic Numbers' CD.
