Off Topic, apologies! Heard your performance Di, thought it was quite good, beat us anyway and we played well. As you say onwards and upwards, don't place too much emphasis on result of one contest, band's being doing great up to now, no reason why it won't continue.

    Thought I'd update...

Still on Sop with City of Cambridge, although I did a stint with Soham Comrades in 2005 because I couldn't make the 1st section areas that year!

I also play in a brass quintet called Strong brass and I've been with a Cheezy disco style Function Band Called Disco Inferno for about 18 months now.

Also..I play in some orchestras, in fact in the next couple of weeks, I'm playing in the Cambridge Philharmonic Society and Cambridge Orchestra but I'm not a regular member of either

Update from my last post (2 years ago).... currently playing flugel for Marlow Town Band (non contesting and I'm really enjoying having a break from doing contests for a while) and also play 1st trumpet in the Misbourne Symphony Orchestra. All good fun. :)
