Congrats to Langley, Shirley and Brackley - does anyone know what they played?

Didn't get there today (I was sort-of thinking about maybe going) it was the first I've missed for a few years...ah well.

Still no results on 4bars...anyone know the other sections?

    ..is that Warwick University Band??

If it is we'd better prepare for a randomness explosion from Lynchie in the next few hours...:-D

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 3rd place!!! And easily the best mexican wave in the entire competition!! Even if Stan didn't like our section very much in general! Muchos happiness in the Warwick camp! And lets face it, you can't drink 3 and a half pints of beer or our special Apple Sourz/Smirnoff Ice mixture out of that shield they gave out for 1st place...

Unfortunately I had to leave the frivolities slightly early due to residence social rep duties, but I believe most of the band are still creating general disharmony in Leamington tonight!

    :D

Rushden won the 4th section (well done!)

Two local bands I haven't heard of came second and third (Coleshill might have been one of them?)

Well done to Langley in the 1st section - I heard a number of people had you tipped for 1st place, so it's nice to see that the public opinion was right!

Finally, it pains me, but congrats to squeaky for winning the best soloist award :p
