Do you think he bought his Psychologists advice on e-bay too???
It's almost - not quite but almost - worth ringing the Psychologists number that he has posted just to find out a bit more about what psychological damage playing this tuba actualy caused him - It's got me worried ;-)

(Said in the style of Winston Churchill)
" the field of tuba music...has so much distress been caused, to a musician, by so few tuba's!"

Geez this bloke has some major tuba issues.

    So..was it a BBb or a CC?

He would never have ended up that way if he'd taken up the flugel  . I have to say, if I was buying something on eBay, I'd hesitate to buy from someone who was so confused about what he was selling. What if it turned out to be an Eb tuba? :-D

I think that depends on if you are playing treble or bass clef ;)

    Thanks, Peter.
It's now coming up as an Invalid Item. Just as I was wondering how I might get it back to the UK!

You could seal up the case with duct tape, and use it as a raft... might take a while to get back though ;)

Gosh I'm full of great ideas... well full of something, anyway!
