Weird results or what?

    It's obviously yet another typo. Maybe people will start to realise just how important it is to be careful when typing stuff up. BBM, are you listening!

    I'm really glad there are still points at our national championships.

    Winning margins are relevant to the results and not having points detracts from the event.

    I always get my "just sour grapes" head on when folk complain about the results. But in this case it seems Moira has a good point.

    ..but perhaps it was because I was a proud member of Aberdeen City Band back in the 1980s that I take notice. The coach trip back north from the Areas holds many fine memories though. Now that is whit brass banding is all about! ( I think you were with a more northerly band in them days though Moira?)

    Well did play with Bon Accord conduct Bon Accord B and also conducted Turriff. Finished my banding at Granite City. Unless I come out of band retirement when I get to work retirement that is . :)
