There are less than 20 votes at the time of this post! Come on people, vote. It makes the prize worth much that much more!

You are right. A 50% increase in votes in one day. I don't think anyone wants to win when the top vote getter was not even in double-digits. I would think if you won, you would like to have a majority of a fairly large number of votes.

That would be opposed to squeaking by

This is because more people notice the thread when it gets shown in the front home page of the mouthpiece recent threads. When the voting is so hidden away as it usually is then it doesn't catch people eye and hense less voting. I propose that there is a voting panel on the main tmp home page or a link to voting so that casual tmp'ers will be more inclined to have a look and make a vote.

Thats a good idea, id like the website of the month to be more competitive and this would make it more impressive to have won the award.

It seems strange that this isn't easier to find. I had to search very specifically for it!

TMP admin please note, it's daft that something like website of the month voting panel is hidden like this, no wonder there are hardly any votes. Can it be put somewhere more prominent?...

Thanks for this. As you may have seen from other threads, John is currently looking at styles which will make upgrades and changes easier. I'll flag this up for consideration. :tup

No problem - Di did mention it in our moderator area and I see no reason why, when we've decided on the style going forward, we can't make this far more prominent so that it is easier to find and as you sugest, could possibly then attract a lot more votes.

    Good idea! thanks.
