Terry Warburton has earned a great reputation with his interchangeable mouthpieces. I was on his website the other day and noticed that he has now launched a cornet. At over $2000, he's coming in at the top end of the market. But, when you look at the cornet he's advertising and taking deposits on, it appears he may have gone to market too quickly!!!

Try it and if you like it, buy one.
Don't go by looks alone - most of the (pre-French) Besson Prestige instruments looked fantastic but played hideously and frequently fell apart.

Knowing Terry, I somehow doubt that he will leave it looking like that if the buyer wants it silver with gold highlights - I imagine he could also be persuaded to put triggers on it for the UK market.

Indeed; wonder who, if anyone, will stock them over here. That said, it does seem risky to at least not plate or lacquer the one being advertised, no?
