    Hi,
I'm really looking for a round badge 4v Sovereign but would be interested to hear from anyone selling any 4v bari.

    Any condition considered.

Please PM me if you can help.

    Cheers,
    K

These weren't made when the round badge ones were out. The four valved Sovereigns have only been about for 7/8 years ish.

Sorry, my mistake. I just remembered it had a round badge on it!!! If I said it was a 956 model would that mean anything?

    It's one of them.....!

A 956 is the 4-valve Sovereign baritone but, as has been mentioned before, these are a relatively recent (last 10 years?) addition to the Besson range so would not have been made in the 'globe' Sovereign era.

There's a 956 advertised in the current British Bandsman (8th October issue) for £1000.

Well I'll get closer than nearly 2 and a half grand for a new one!!

If I thought I could do it, I would make myself a bari out of an old radiator as has already been suggested to me (thanks for that btw!)

Sorry to shatter the illusion..... :)
