OK, let's have a laugh here:) Have a go at predicting the score in Saturdays game from the above list.

Remember though where the two top banding sites are located hehehehe..

Oh great John! I'm trying my best not to think about it - have 0% confidence about this one - particularly when there's talk of Rooney, Defoe and Owen playing in attack! Even so, I'm predicting a 1-1 draw! ;)

Could always debate how many players from each side will be still on the pitch after 90 minutes

Surely AFTER 90 minutes they should all leave......

2:1 but I'm not saying which way........

But the match is taking place at Old Trafford, Ron - where all matches last a minimum of 100 minutes! ;)

    That's 100 minutes each half.....

Wales are clearly very fired up for this. if they're to stand a chance, they mustn't be too fired up and I honestly believe Robbie Savag'es suspension may well help rather than hinder Wales in that respect. Wales have come on leaps and bounds under Mark Hughes (who I think is making the mother of all mistakes leaving Wales for the Blackburn job). Sure, they've had an iffy start to their campaign but we're only two games in! Name me an international side who hasn't had a two game bad run before!

This ones' too close to call for me (so I'll stick with 2-2! ;-))

Does that mean Giggs will win a penalty in the 90th minute?

OK, Scots and Irishmen/women.... Who will you be rooting for out of England and Wales? Not an attempt to stir thigs, just curious. ;-)

What, you mean tMP has a reserve site? ;-)

Careful Dave - it can be dangerous stirring "thigs"

Indeed, I should be careful omitting 'n's from words, I mean, think of the Welsh 'Drago'. Who'd want a fat old snooker player as their national emblem? ;-)

I'm a jock and have loved watching Wales recently as they play really attractive, exciting football (for the first time in a LONG time) but have to say I think England have just a bit too much quality for them to handle.

My ideal result would be a pulsating 2-2 cos I honestly can't decide who i'd like to win it but I think England will run out winners 1-2.
Giggs scoring for Wales, Owen and Rooney both netting for England.
(Do we know if Rob Earnshaw is in the Wales squad? I haven't heard either way.)

Much as I hate to say it, I can see england going one up early, taking their foot off the gas, and the old defensive frailties coming back to haunt us.

Now if Sven ever went to watch teams other than chelsea, man united, liverpool and arsenal who are all foreigners anyway, we might have a team!!!!

I'll refrain from comment about team selection on the secretarial staff as this is a family forum. At least he's had the sense to sack heskey, the hopeless stumbling buffoon. Defoe is a million times better than him.

Sven out, Bobby Robson back in.

    2-1 Wales. :(
