Bandstands flourished in late Victorian and Edwardian times, but since the Second World War, when many were dismantled, along with house railings, to aid the war effort, there have been fewer of these fine edifices gracing our public places.

The Vintage Bandstands site provides a location to collect and display images of these bandstands of yesteryear, and also the start of a reference source for information about bandstands and their makers/owners.
