Don't think I've used any Vancore Percussion stuff..... certainly nothing new anyway...

Adams are the best I've come across for percussion

I haven't heard about Vancore percussion before. We also use the Adams tuned percussion (timpani, xylophone, tubular bells, marimba and even a bass marimba :)).

From their website, it appears that Vancore is based in the Friesland province (all the way in the North of the Netherlands), so maybe their instruments are mainly used by the bands up north. Adams is from the South of the Netherlands. Their instruments are used a lot in the Southern Dutch bands and in Flanders.

Maybe you could ask your question on the forum , which is a Dutch Brass forum, with a lot of members from the North. English questions should be no problem for most users over there... Just post your question in either the "Algemeen" (General) forum or the "Instrumenten, mondstukken en accesoires" (Instruments, mouthpieces and accesories) forum and press "nieuw onderwerp" to create a new subject.
