lol!! thats just cheesey.. besides.. any idiot could "sell a star" on ebay....

Valentines Day should be romantic tokens of love thought out by the individuals themselves... If I found out my BF had posted a thread in a forum I'd be shocked that he couldnt think of stuff himself... lazyness.... pure lazyness

    :p ;)

How about a trip to Venice? You should be able to get cheap flights, still and you could either 'do it in a day' or stay overnight.

This reminded me of an e-mail I received a couple of years ago asking if I would write a cornet solo for this guys girlfriend, who apparently, had just started playing again. I thought it was such a novel request that I obliged without hesitation.

So there's one idea for you. I'm sure if you asked nicely someone would volunteer their services.

Volunteer, Roger? Surely MajorSteve isn't such a cheapskate that he'd give his GF a present that cost him nothing!

For a consideration, perhaps.....  mwaaahaahaahaa....

    A surprise maybe?

And what bigger surprise than to buy her:

    absolutely nothing!

Failing that, commission Roger to compose a nice Solo in her name! ;)

Take her to a pick your own flowers place (a garden), then go disco bowling, then get a burgular from the cheesy 'diner' and then go out to one of those great clubs that make you have dirty sticky beer-y black feet.

Now that would be a fun day!

Failing that, a nice walk and a home cooked meal
