I'm after some real corny valentine verses - and really can't remember any apart from

My heart is like a cabbage
and when its split in two
the leaves I'd give to anyone
but the heart I'd give to you.

    any others???????????? :)

You could always try a less subtle approach

    Violets are blue,
    Roses are red.
    Wine me and dine me,
    Then take me to bed.

    supposedly Shakespeare was very romantic...

so how about something from Macbeth?? I mean murdering a king would sweep any woman off her feet!!

    Money's tight

Not all that romantic but I am sure it will keep some of you out there amused (and I am sure Dave Payn will know even more like this one!)

Roses are red, violets are blue,
sugar is sweet, and so are you.

But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead,
the sugar bowl's empty and so is your head

I love your smile, your face, and your eyes
Damn, I'm good at telling lies!

Here are some more beauties! From an american competition to have the most romantic first line and least romantic second line (i've only posted the clean ones!).

I thought that I could love no other
Until, that is, I met your brother.

Of loving beauty you float with grace.
If only you could hide your face.

    Kind, intelligent, loving and hot;
This describes everything you are not.

I want to feel your sweet embrace
But don't take that paper bag off of your face

My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife:
Marrying you screwed up my life

I see your face when I am dreaming
That's why I always wake up screaming

My love, you take my breath away.
What have you stepped in to smell this way

My feelings for you no words can tell,
Except for maybe "go to hell"

    What inspired this amorous rhyme?
Two parts vodka, one part lime.

found this one by Adrian someone...

When I feel sad and weary
When I think all hope is gone
When I walk along High Holborn
I think of you with nothing on.
