Can anyone confirm if Trinity brass candidates are allowed to use a CD instead of a piano accompaniment in brass Grades 1-3? (Not jazz grades)

Some of my students were due to take their ABRSM exams Monday, but their piano player has been taken ill, and I couldn't find a replacement.

Certainly for Grade 1 & 2, I think a CD would be a better idea in my case. We're a good bit from the nearest examination centre, and even just meeting piano players for rehearsals is a major inconvenience, never mind the exam!!

    That's good news!

I have access to Sibelius and Finale, and a good quality digital recorder, so I have a number of options. I could probably whip up something here myself!

If I find out more details, I'll post the info here, but if anyone has any experience of it, it would be great to hear from you!

That would become an illegal reproduction if you have not sought the written permission of the copyright holder.
