    Lurking between reviews of CDs of works by Berlioz and Schoenberg in today's Daily Telegraph is one of the recent Oystein Baadsvik CD. At this rate, brass might become ....... shudder.......popular! 8)

    Mum was saying the other day, that in Big W (local retail outlet) there was a special. Grimethorpe, Black Dyke, and South Brisbane Federal (Qld band) - $25!!!!! At a bargain like that, who'd say no?

    Would you believe it?!
    My copy of Saturdays Telegraph had all the extra bits (Motoring, Money etc.) in a poly bag inside the main paper, BUT NO ARTS SECTION, so I missed the review.
    Anyway, we have the CD in stock and here's the link;

    Highly recommended and well worth a listen.
    This man can do amazing things on a tuba as anyone who saw/heard him at the 2003 European Championships (or on our DVD/video) will tell you.

    There was a recent article about him in the ABW and the concert he did. Something was mentioned about using a coin in the mouthpiece??? Unique to say the least!
