    Please note the change of venue & times!

    Steps of St. Paul's Cathedral, The Churchyard, 1-2pm.

    Thanks, CB

    The Nightmare Before (Tuba) Christmas!

    After securing an original venue and sending out hundreds of notices and emails, we were informed three days ago that Somerset House in London would not be accommodating this event after all!

    Thanks to the hard work of Chris Ludwig, we have been successful in saving the event from cancellation before it even had started. If you have already made contact with Chris, there is no need to do so again.

    So with a new venue and slightly altered times, please note the following;

    Passed by St Paul's just after 1pm, and found the Tuba Christmas spectacular under way.

    A few shots, taken on a mobile phone, including one with Highams.

    Whilst the turnout was pretty poor (around 30) the quality of those playing today was first class, amazing intonation too!

    Patrick Harrild was a sheer joy.

    Yes indeed, if you don't already have it where you are, it's well worth organising for 08.

    Thanks for the pictures Will - I am playing the big Cerveny Red Brass BBb on the left in the fourth photo.

    What really surprised me, was the complete absence of any brass band style BBb basses. Let's see you chaps next year!
