Thought you all would like to know that the tsunami charity match held at the MCG today raised over $15 Million Australian dollars.

The Rest of the World thumped the Asian XI by 112 runs in the World Cricket Tsunami Appeal match, which drew the cream of the world's cricketers for a match played in a competitive, but light-hearted spirit. Rest of the World skipper Ponting starred with the bat, top-scoring with 115 in front of a crowd of more than 70,000.

It was a really good game. A lot of big hits, good bowling and great fielding. Very high scoring too.

Ponting looked awesome from the few highlights they showed on the news.
A great idea and a whole heap of cash raised with a return leg still to come. Cracking stuff.
