can anyone give me an idea of some nice easyish popular trombone solos for summer concerts?
Try 'Vegas Sunset' (Nigel Hall) (amongst others) from www.mmi-music.co.uk . It's an original and not an arrangement of something else but is very depictive and listenable and would suit summer concerts.
Really depends on what you mean by "easyish". Maybe something like Misty? That's fairly straightforward. Or, if it wouldn't offend your cornet section, Share My Yoke is nice on trombone.
what style Sharron?
will be easier to recommend if we know
The Firefly is good one.
Romanza by Henry Gheel, old but good. :0)
