    Anyone going to the Treorchy Contest tomorrow...oh, actually today now!! I will be there playing Triumphant Rhapsody (it's a set test piece mods!!) for Rogerstone in the First Section. Will post any results I am aware of here tonight.

    Hi Tim...seeing as Ammanford aren't going Sheila and I will be at the Millennium Stadium.........whooooooooooeeeeeee watching South Africa struggle against Wales (I wish!!!) Best of luck mate

    I know Kepps will be there with his band travelling all the way from Ireland.... make sure any tMP'ers give them a great Sout Walian welcome eh :)

    Good luck to the Dungarvan band from Ireland.
    My dad (on Bass) and brother-in-law (on Cornet) are playing with them I believe.
    Got a gig tonight so unfortunatly can't travel to support!

    It was good to see a band taking part from outside of Wales. Well Done

    4th Section results so far

    1st - Glynneath
    2nd - Upper Rhondda
    3rd - Dungarvan

    Best Instrumentalist - Solo Cornet Glynneath.

    Basic Results from the Championship section are:

    1. Tongwynlais Temperance
    2. Burry Port
    3. Parc & Dare

    Best Trombone Player : Robin Hacket (Tongwynlais)

    Best Instrumentalist : Rob Burnet (Parc & dare) his VERY last performance im told.

    Well done to the Ton it was a fantastic performance ( I was in the audience today!)

    Yeah... congratulations Tongwynlais!!!!

    See you all next year in the area's. I think its fair to say that both bands have had a good year. And i also think both bands will surprise a few people next year.

    Keep up the god work Ton, but please don't beat us too often!!!

    Lewis Merthyr won the Second Section and Pontypool the Third.
