Carlton Brass in a state of shock at the passing away of a young brilliant and upcoming cornet player.

It is with deep regret and sadness that I have to report the tragic death of Hayley Donze. Hayley passed away on Sunday night after a short and sudden illness. Our deepest condolences and thoughts are with Martin, Michelle, Kim and their family. Funeral details and arrangements will be announced soon.

So sorry to hear that a young talented bands woman has passed away. I am sure the band will get on with things as she would have wanted! It is always sad to read these stories but I am sure and hope it will bring the band strength in her memory!!

I couldn't believe it when I read this! Played with Carlton a while back, and always knew Hayley to be a warm, bubbly person, always full of life and enthusiasm!

Am a bit lost for words, but my deepest sympathies go out to Michelle, Martin and family
