Just a quick note to congratulate all the bands for an excellent weekends banding in Torquay. :D

Being a steward for most of the weekend (assisting bands on and off stage) it was great to meet a lot of old friends and make some new ones. All the bands seem to enjoy the two days with the standard in the West always on the up.

Well done to all the qualifiers good luck in Harrogate and London

Commiserations to Flowers (who lost their flugal player two days before the contest :( ) and to Bendix (who played their performance in two halves due to an evacuation of the building following a fire alarm  ). Better luck next year.

A great weekend and a good result for City Of Bristol and Test Valley - first year in the top section 7th and 8th and snapping at the heals of the big boys!!!!!

Edit: Moved from Rehearsal Room. (dyl)

As V-Chair, Bandmaster and Contest Sec, who has time for a job!!!!!!!!!!
