December's playlist was mostly Christmas music with some of the "regular" playlist mixed in for variation. Only so many times you can listen to "O Holy Night" even with three different arrangements by three different bands.

No real surprises in the voting this month, except by the two tracks from Spiritual To the 'Bone's Christmas CD.

Looking forward to the new year. I have added tracks from 6 new CDs in January. These include:

Of Gods and Kings by the Foden's Band
War Memorials by the Tredegar Town Band
The Way We Were by the Cory Band
Forever Shining by the Black Dyke Band
Musicals by the Household Troops Band of the Salvation Army

    and one donated CD
    Affinity by Les Neish

Affinity is a brilliant new solo tuba CD by Les Neish. If you are not familiar with Les and his playing, I highly recommend visiting his website.

If you are not familiar with the radio station, it is an internet radio station with a worldwide following, but most listeners are from the US, UK and Germany. But I get listeners from Columbia, Russia, Japan and all kinds of nations. Simply go to the front page to listen and to find streams to use on various devices. It can also be heard on iTunes Radio, InTune Radio, ByGrace Radio and others. Again go to the front page for more information.

Also, as a reminder, you can catch
Chris Helme's Sunday Bandstand Show from Noon to 2 PM Eastern Time in the US (5 PM to 7 PM London Time) each Sunday. A repeat show is played from 5 PM to 7 PM Eastern Time in the US (10 PM to Midnight in London) each Wednesday which helps other parts of the world listen to the show.

The station is commercial free and is run on the generous donations of the listeners. I fall way short each month of my expenses, so if you enjoy hearing the best in brass band tracks as voted on by the listeners, please consider a small monthly donation. I have some fine dedicated donors now that help make the station possible.
