    Hi Folks,

The tMP Band have recently received an invitation from Frank Hodges and his team to again play at this year’s Pontin’s Festival. We have duly accepted this invitation and will presently be discussing the possible ‘performance’ slots available to us.

Last year we played an hour’s concert on the Saturday evening with a shorter performance before the announcement of the Championship results on the Sunday. Both performances were very successful and we are hoping to do something very similar again this year.

Here are a few details for the weekend which may help you make a decision. (performance times taken from last year)

    Saturday 29th October:
    Fourth Section - 9.00 a.m. start
    Third Section - 2.00 p.m. start - (expected to finish about 7.30 p.m.)
    First Section - 10.00 a.m. start

tMP Band Rehearsal - time and venue to be announced but will probably be late afternoon.
tMP Band perform in the Ballroom 7.30 p.m. start (approx)

    Sunday 30th October
    Second Section - 9.00 a.m. start
    Championship Section - 10.00 a.m. start
tMP Band to perform (15-20 minutes) before the announcement of results (provisional)

Could I please ask you to keep this thread solely for posting your availability for both concerts and please check your own bands engagement diary before posting!

Please copy and paste your details below:

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Frank Hodges and Darrio Touhladjiev (Pontin's Contest Organisers) for their help and assistance in this matter.

Thanking you all in anticipation of the above.

    Roger
