    tMP band charity concert
    Hadleigh, Essex
    Saturday 9th April 2005

Programme to include the World Premiere performance of the winning march
    "The MouthPiece"

Following on from the preliminary announcement posted a few weeks ago, we are now ready to take details of players available for the above event.

Provisional timings are as follows, but may be subject to amendment:

    1.30 pm Rehearsal

    5.30 pm Buffet tea

7.00 pm Public Concert (proceeds towards youth work in the Hadleigh area)

Further details (including accommodation in the area for those wanting to stop over) will follow, but it is important that we can collate the band as soon as possible, as the programme will need to be tailored to the players available, and we are hoping to include at least one substantial work. Please only post if you can definitely attend, as this will make our job a lot easier. Once tMPers have posted successfully on this thread, access will be given to a new section on tMP specifically for the event, where further announcements will be made and discussion can take place.

Please copy and paste your details below:

    Name: Dave Taylor
Instrument played: Bass Trombone / Euph
Other Instruments played: Tenor Trombone / Baritone / Bass (Eb for preference, but can do Bb if needed) / Horn (but only if we're desperate for a 2nd!) / Cornet (Last resort - 2nd or 3rd only!)
    Current position held: Bass Trombone
Your Present Band: Kidlington Concert Brass
    Section of Band: Championship
Are you prepared to play a solo item, or take part in a duet/trio/quartet item? Yes. 2et/3o/4et sounds more fun than a solo though!
If so, please indicate whether you could supply your own accompanist/set of band parts. Maybe. However, I'm more than happy to be an accompanist myself, should we be short of one, provided I can have a look at anything tricky a couple of weeks beforehand.

Are you prepared to play a solo item, or take part in a duet/trio/quartet item? Would take part in duet / trio / quartet
If so, please indicate whether you could supply your own accompanist/set of band parts Might be able to supply band parts

Just noticed as well that this is my 500th post! Hooray!
