Did anyone else see Thundersley on BBC News24 yesterday?

They were at Harrogate and turned up outside the hospital where Richard Hammond (Top Gear guy) is recovering from his 300mph crash. They were playing a few tunes and the MD/BandMaster (sorry didn't catch your name) had a very short interview. Was a bit reminiscent of brassed off but it was nice to see the band take the initiative and get a bit of publicity.

Think I just causght a glimpse in a 'coming up' trailer. Were they playing Amarillo?.

What happened? did the nurses come and move the band on saying the hamster had a headache?

    Ha Ha Ha Ha

Who cares about the Nationals, we were on Interational TV!!!

We had a bad experience in the morning, drawn number 2 and then the nerves got the better of us, although 4bars rest did enjoy our performance. It was just a little tense.

A few of the band were in the pub drowning their sorrows and then the news came on and they started talking about 'the hamster'. As a joke one of them said that we should go and do a mini concert at the hospital for him to listen too. They phoned the hospital and to cut a long story short WE WERE ON INTERNATIONAL TV. We gave him a get well card and two tickets for our Contrast in Brass concert, which is on the 21st of October at Hadliegh Salvation Army Hall, featuring Zone One Brass and Thundersley Brass.

Once again a shameless bit of advertising!!!!! ;)

A good experience had by all!
