Does anyone know if there are any other arrangements of Thuderbirds out there other than the old Frank Bryce one we have in the library? I seem to remember seeing one by either Darrol Barry or Philip Sparke at one time (and I know Philip has done it for wind band) but I can't find any other versions listed anywhere.

A quick look at Philip's site ( reveals that it's not listed among his brass band works, only in the wind band category.

A quick search on tMP shows this amongst the results. :) Hope this helps.

I publish an arrangement of this piece. Click on the link below which will take you to my website. If you have Sibelius 'Scorch' you can view and listen to the score.

The version we played is published by De haske. You can order it from Robin Norman who can be found lurking on tMP! Good luck to your front row if you use this version.
  6. I know that my band has got one - it's stuck in a thick, old, red march book ande for the life of me, I can't remember who did it.

I'll have a look on Sunday for you...
  7. Oh, sorry - not there this week - I'll look next week.

    Sorry again!
