why am i not suprised by this , who in their right mind would want to hump a big lump of metal around all night , getting coins and other things thrown at the bell of the instruement , becouse its a good target , no thank you not for me any more , its about time they did away with the marching and just have the bands playing on the stand

There seems to be a shortage of BBb bass players generally, not just for Whit Friday. The marching is all part of the great Whit Friday event for me. I love it, and would not change any of it. However, I am from Yorkshire, and definitely out of my mind.

I've done "the Whits" 3 times now and wearing a kilt! Nobody has thrown anything at me.

p.s This is neither an invite or a challenge merely a statement of fact!

Roll on June the first 2012
