    Hi There,

This is one for all you Salvation Army collectors out there. I have a student who wants to play "The Happy Pilgrim" by Albert Jakeway. I have searched my collection and can't find it on CD or LP. Anyone know where I would find a recording?

    Cheers

    Adam

Are you sure it's The HAPPY Pilgrim? I have The JOYFUL Pilgrim in my index, played by Philip Smith and the New York Staff Band when Albert Jakeway was the subject of one of their Profile nights.

No it definately us the 'Happy Pilgrim'. I have the music in front of me. Euphonium solo, published by SP&S 1943, written by Brig. Albert H. Jakeway. No. 1228 :D
