    What as been the best thing for you in 2010 as this year been what you hoped it would be.

    The continuing improvement of my football team
    The continuing decline of Liverpool Football Club
    The amazing wasteage of turkey products

    Two things for me have made this a fantastic year:-

    The birth of our daughter.
    Finding a brilliant new job.

    Contest debuts at the RAH and BIC at the Sage would have to go down as highlights for me i guess

    The best thing this year for me has been very poignant... having a piece composed and recorded by my son for big sis, and being able to let her hear it in the few hours before she sadly passed away. :(

    2010 has been an eventful year all in all and it's so not over yet. I am grateful for my amazing friends, both old and new and my family. I look forward to starting 2011 with a relocation, new home and new job, all with the love and support of a truly awesome man! :D

    Most Entertaining again at the US Open
    (& Looking forward to my first trip to Butlins)

    Outside of Band
    A Chelsea Double
    A new nephew
    Finally Graduating this December!!

    I think some of the best things were: a Royal Marines Band concert (they played me happy birthday!), gcses, starting the violin, starting 6th form and joining county band :)

    Highlight for me was listening to the Top Section area at Bradford. The sound of Rothwell, Dyke, Brighouse, Grimthorpe and the rest was inspirational.

    I agree, I took part in my first Brass in Concert this year and absolutely loved it!

    Concert in the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels in January, live recorded and broadcasted on Flemish national radio
    Concert trip to Madrid in July (playing in the Parque del Retiro for over 2000 people, in a sold-out Teatro de la Zarzuela and being invited to the mansion of the Belgian Ambassador)

    My trip to the USA (Washington DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virgina) in June
    The marriage of my sister in November

    1) Joining Newhall Band in the Midlands making some great new friends.
    2) My first contest at leamington band came 4th in the 4th section.
    3) Winning best instrumentalist at Leamington in 4th section on Sop for Newhall(very proud and grateful).
    These were just banding moments.. Had many personal moments to be happy with,

    Waking up and hearing the glorious news from Melbourne. Oh how I wish I was there. I'd just have to put up with loads of whining...
