Barbeque??? Its p***ing down with rain here! And has been for a few days now!
Ahyhoo... when its not raining... on those rare occasions when the stoor is removed, the usual sausages and burgers, some nice chicken and pepper kebabs, and beef and pork steaks marinaded overnight in soy sauce and some random spices from the cupboard.
Oh... and plenty chilled beer.... :biggrin:
Banana!! Might not be the best answer to give to a butcher! (i do eat meat!) but there is nothing nicer than a banana, filled with mars bar, and put on the BBQ (wrapped in foil) the mars bar melts, and it is lush! Lush lush!
Sausages are my favourite.
Today we have had to make Chicken&Lamb Kebabs with Lemon And Black Cracked Pepper on them with onions and mushrooms.
This was for a Chef who was to lazy to do them himself for the place where he works
We cooked one to see what they were like and they were:tup
But dont ask me to do any for you as we HATE doing kebabs just take to much time to make when 50 are wanted with less then 12 hours notice:ranting2:
Yet something else we had to do today but this was very nice and have brought some home for tea:

Today we have done some Chicken with Cajun &Lemon with cracked black pepper Burgers Half Pounders, this was a special Burger we were asked to do, we were not to sure about them so we will have to wait and see as one of the places we suply as asked for them
Obviously not a good one for a butcher, but how about crayfish with a sweet chilli and lime sauce? Sounds good to me.

A request came in last week for us to do 300
Venison&Duck kebabs with honey lemon seasoning on them.
Just wanted to add shrimp to my previous post...shrimp and steak seem to go quite well together :-D
chicken (we always cook ours in the oven and put it on the barbeque to finish)
srawberries, peaches, nectarines, grapes and any other fruit you fancy. wrap in foil parcels and add a splash of cointreau. Seal and place on the barbie for 10-15 mins. Open and serve with whipped cream

You butcher them (I'm squeamish) and I'll BBQ them. ( I was going to say "Roast" but that's a different ball game !)
