    Hey All

My wife is after a practice / rehearsal mute, the ones that come with a set of headphones you plug into the mute. Does anyone know of these mutes being available for Tenor Horn please? If so, can you let me have a link.

    Thanks muchly!

It's yamaha silent brass, but when I was at.brass in concert they had a trade stand and I asked but they said there there were no plans to make a tenor horn version. Just not a big enough market apparently.

Strange, I'm sure that I can remember on of Black Dykes horn players using one when warming up before one of their open rehearsals last year (or maybe year before).

    Hi John,

If you decide to for the Yamaha Silent Brass, the Trombone/Bass Trombone version will fit into a Tenor Horn bell and as Cantonian says this works very well.
The one I have is the Yamaha Silent Brass SB5-9, but there may be a newer version. Good Luck.

A trombone silent brass is the best one for TH. it actually has exactly the same bell flare as a sovereign trombone as was. ;-)
