In only 36-hrs from being posted on you tube early Sunday, The Ohio State University Marching Band's halftime show reached 1-million hits no YouTube. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...e-themes-halftime-show.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

if you are an old school video game fan, this is a must see!

Now why post this on tMP. 1) The Ohio State University Marching Band is the only USA university band to be all brass (and percussion) modeled after the British Brass Band. 2) St. Helen's Youth Band visited Ohio State in 2010 and got to march on the same pitch in the video, with Jon Waters (the current interim director) being a most gracious host, & 3) the TBDBITL Alumni (as they are called for The Best Damn Band In the Land) performed at the Durham Festival of Brass in 2010 (with Mr. Waters and Dr. Paul Droste...who has founded or helped found the Central Ohio Brass Band, Brass Band of Columbus and Dublin Silver Band).

This is a band that is constantly trying to find the balance between tradition and innovation...I hope you enjoy!

    Blooming Brilliant!! :-D

As an ex-marching bander myself, it's nice to see some innovation and humour in a band show! :-D

It was also good to see the TBDBITL Alumni at the Durham Miners' Gala back in 2010. :-D
