BBC Radio 2 Young Brass Musician of the Year Stephen Sykes will star as guest soloist in a special charity concert with Virtuosi GUS Band a week on Saturday (27th February). The concert, entitled 'Windows of the World - Into Africa', is part of the series which included the hugely successful 'Brass for Africa - A Musical Spectacular' back in November. It will feature a variety of music on a world theme with a particular focus on Africa.

During Easter of this year, a group from The Salvation Army at Kettering will be travelling to Zambia to help run a music school and oversee various worthwhile projects such as AIDs, Orphans and Water Sanitation. They will also be donating brass instruments to the local people, in a community which is one of the most impoverished in the world.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and will be held at The Salvation Army, 66 Rockingham Road, Kettering NN16 8JU
    Tickets are £10 & £8 (concessions) and are available on (t) 07970 750 321 or 01908 505 877 or (e)
