Wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a euphonium/Eb bass duet that would be suitable for duet competitions? Both players 1st section standard. Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

I beleive "Radiant Pathway" was scored to be played as Euph / Eb Bass as alternatives to EEb/BBb Duet.

Tyrolean Tubas is a good one. Be able to balance the Eb Basses with he Euphs quite easily.

Do you know who composed/arranged this or who the publisher is?

Leslie Condon was the composer, and it's published by SP&S:

I don't know whether there is a piano accompaniment available, but Carl Woodman would know.

    Euph/EEb bass duet

I'm playing around with "One Over the Eight" by R Garmen (available from Just Music) which is a euph/Eb bass duet at the moment. It is not too technical - mostly both playing same notation but sounding octaves.
This is a good fun piece, bit out of the ordinary/novelty item.

I'm not aware of a piano accompaniment, Peter.

No I did not Steve!! Sorry chap! There arnt that many around I dont think. In all my years in banding, nearly 40 now, I havnt come across any.

BTW, have you looked up on the Obrasso catalogue. There maybe something in that catalogue that should be of interest.

    Good luck with the contest!
