Whilst perusing the pages on the bbc regarding the singing and sledging ( verbal ) match between the Barmy army and the Aussies, I came across what has to be the strangest place for a Brass Band to be mentioned :

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/tms/2006/12/england_win_the_verbal_ashes.shtml

    ( have a look at entry 8, if it's still there anyway :D.. )

is this one of the Aussie members of tMP ?

( and are Grimthorpe really that good at singing? :D ).

Another one - in the Radio Times film guide for Xmas - I can't remember which film it is (at work at the mo') but the blurb mentions "Richard Gere shows off his cornet playing skills".
    Yeh right.
