Ironic seeing as the real Bellamy is probs off to Birmingham for around £6 mill.
Good riddance to the mouthy, overpaid, bigheaded little piece of ****. An absolute disgrace to the black and white shirt. No player's bigger than the club, many would be wise to remember that the fans support the CLUB not the PLAYERS. The players are nowt but custodians of the shirt.
Bellamy can **** off and die as far as I am concerned!!
(And this is the self-moderated version!!)
Don't like him than Colin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not a big Bellamy fan Col?
Don't matter anyway because Dyer (also a sack of **** will be away at the end of the season, thats if anyone wants one of the most overrated players ever!) will be off by end of the season then Shearer will take over next year and by 2007 Toon will be playing "Championship" footy...HURRAH! :-D
why you little.... :ranting2: :ranting2:
I've always thought you had mackem tendencies!!
I'd rather be a mackem than a magpie
Anyway as a toon fan I thought you'd agree about Dyer!
Thank god, their finally getting rid of Souness.
If you boys want to make it big I suggest you get a manager who doesn't specialise in alienating half his players. But of course we all know graeme sourpuss is a great manager, obviously in the same class as Bobby Robson...
Getting rid of Souness? Since when? As someone with no gripe against Newcastle, I say it'd be the best thing for them, or is this just irony I've missed? (A 100th time for everything....)
'tis true, though. The likes of Souness and Hoddle seem to specialise in alienating players and doing their best to destroy team spirit as a result. Hoddle will last until the middle of next season at Wolves, tops. And then Freddie Shepherd blames Robson for the discipline problems! If I were Robson, I'd sue for defamation of character!
Well it seems that Bellamy has signed for the Celts, at least until the end of the season on loan. Interesting thought occurred to me. Why on loan? Could it be that the Toon board still rate the player and disagree with their manager syaing he's played his last game for Newcastle. Should Newcastle not qualify for Europe and not win the FA Cup is there a possibility that Souness will be dumped to allow a way back for Bellamy. Either way I dont care, just looking forward to seeing him in the hoops.
Funny, I thought it was spelt C E L T I C?
Bellamy's not a bad player...
An arrogant **** maybe, but not a bad player!!
Wouldnt have minded him at Eastlands until we find someone else to replace our recently departed arrogant ***!!
I reckon he should have gone to Fenerbahce - would've fitted in superbly there - as their current strikeforce consists of Anelka and Van Hooijdonk - a more trouble-free forward line you won't see anywhere!
Le Sulk says he wants to play bigger matches??
He might be in Europe but Fenerbache never fill a stadium... His career is dead and buried!!
Shame we lost a shedful of money on him but a least we're £35k a week better off.
Aye... Lost 11 Million... However his contribution last season did keep us up where we belong!!
He believes he is to big for his clubs;
He's a fool!! :-?
So, the Bellamy saga draws to a close with his loan deal to Celtic being completed, an as satisfactory result as could have been expected, with Bellers out of the Premiership.
Its a shame things had to end this way, Bellamy has easily been our best player this season and his contribution to Newcastle on the pitch cannot be underestimated. There are few more thrilling sights in football than seeing Bellamy break the offside trap to sprint clear one on one with the keeper, true he'll probably fluff the finish but its still great to watch.
However there are uglier sides to Bellamy. His constant backchatting refs is infuriating, despite 52,000 geordies going "shhhhhh" he still wouldn't shut up, and he remains to this day, the only player I have ever seen booked for protesting after winning a freekick. Whilst annoying these traits weren't really that bad, at least it showed he cared. However, it was this "caring" that was brought his attitude into question... His fleeting Champions League career where he get sent off for violent conduct, got suspended, apologised to the fans etc etc and then got sent off again for a similar incident.... hollow promises.. and they just kept coming. Fallouts with John Carver, Sir Bobby and now Souness demonstrate that his offpitch performances are as influential as his on pitch endeavours, and the latest saga was just one too many for many Newcastle fans, and indeed Graeme Souness.
If he had left the toon on better terms I would wish Bellamy all the best but I can't. He has, despite his latest bleatings treated the club with contempt and in my mind that is unforgiveable. He'll flourish at Celtic, especially seeing as the Scottish League is so poor.
As for Souness? I doubt he's blameless in the whole affair. I'm not sure I like the direction he seems to be taking the club in. Amdy Faye? For god's sake! Does the man only ever look down the league instead of up? I would put money on GS not being at the toon at the beginning of next season. I just hope we're still a premiership club then, cos without Bellamy, the side looks very short on ideas. I suppose we'll finally see if Kluivert can actually run though!!
Lets hope you're short of ideas tomorrow night?? Cant wait, i'll be in seat 1189!!
No doubt singing "where were you when you were ****?" as Man City always do, despite the figures suggesting otherwise http://nufc.com/html/where-mancity.html
