    ONE GOOD TURN DESERVES ANOTHER

After helping out Glossop Old Band at the St James Whitefield Church Christmas Concert on Saturday 6th December, I decided to stop off for a well earned pint at The Rock Tavern, Glossop Old Rd, Marple Bridge. Whilst in there, my car was broken into and my Yamaha Maestro Cornet, mutes, mouthpieces and 'Gig' bag (navy blue and red) were taken from the boot of the car.

Should anyone who visits a music shop or cash convertor type store and notice a second hand Cornet, or any of the above items, (my name was on the mutes) recently available for sale, I would be very grateful if you could contact me at ian.moffett@ntlworld.com with the details. Alternatively contact the Stockport Police station on 0161 872 5050.

The Cornet does have a serial number so will be easily identifiable if it is my stolen Cornet.

    Many thanks for your help.
