    solo items for saturday

I'm very much looking forward to the concert and masterclass in Hadleigh this coming saturday. In addition to the 3 pieces with band Peter Bale mentioned, I'm also playing some pieces with piano:
    1. Heart in Heart - Ivor Bosanko
    2. Estrellita - Manuel Ponce
    3. Hora Staccato - Dinicu/Heifitz
and a duet with local lad (and student of mine at the RNCM now), Nick Giles : Two Part Invention - Philip Sparke

I know Nick very well he plays in our band at Norwich Citadel Salvation Army... Cracking young player and is getting better all the time don't you think Steve?
