Best Soprano player Wales has ever produced.

This bloke (Originally from Cwmaman) is a fantastic player and will not be easily replaced. BAYV have lost a gem.

Any thoughts on those who know him or have heard his haunting sound at concerts / contests.

I think Steve is one of the best Sop players about at the moment. Strange decision to 'rather not play', any idea why?

First time I heard Steve was with Sun Life...not a massive sound but brilliant vib and great a blending with the cornet section.
I heard that he finished two weeks ago due to internal friction in the band...
and thy have a "superstar" for the European. might be Herr Clockmaker from Switzerland they had last year.
I think Emlyn Bryant is the best sop from Wales (ex GUS and Faireys )

There is already a discussion started on Steve's move and his replacement at BAYV here so in the intersts of tidyness I'll lock this one.
