    I am just wondering if anybody would be interested in buying this second hand horn?;

    I am in the process of getting it looked at professionally, and getting the serial number dated and then will be considering a price.

    It will be sold with a number 2 Denis Wick mouthpiece, and a Soundwear Gig Bag (grey, very good condition) will be avaliable for £90 if bought with the tenor horn.

    PM me if you are interested and I can send you details when I find them out!

    Hi there and welcome to tMP. Do you have any pictures you could post? They may prove to be helpful. :)

    Ok, here are some photographs. I completely forgot that the 2nd valve slide is slightyly dented but never proved problematic for me. There are a few scratches on the Bell.

    I am going to take it to Owen Farr in the week in college to ask him about pricings.

    This Soundwear gig bag has stayed in perfect condition since the first day I had it!It's one of the lucky Soundwear bags, my other SW gig bag fell apart within months!

    My photography skills aren't what they used to be!

    You could probably sell it for more on ebay! They seem to for about 700 on there, regardless of condition!

    I know this, but I don't trust Ebay with that kind of money!

    And I've already put a price on here now....d'oh!

    Don't worry about that... it is your item for sale and you can sell for whatever price you want to sell for. If you want the price amended just send me a PM and we can change this for ya!

    Hi there! What age is the horn? Is there a serial number that you can provide?

    I checked out the serial number online but it didn't match anything I could find!

    Apparently it's from the 60's though...I'll get you the number tomorrow, as the horn is in college!

    - I thought sovereign horns didn't get made until the mid to late '70s? :confused:

    Can you tell me if this is still available and if so, what the current price is?

    Any ideas why I can't see the pictures?

    Hello all,

    this Tenor Horn never quite made it to Ebay!

    It's been cleaned up & oiled & greased made ready for sale.

    I have some new photographs, this camera's a little better than the one I used before;

    Serial Number is 585637if anyone is interested in it's age.

    There is slight laquer wear, and a few scratches and small dings.
    I have photographs of examples of the 'wear & tear' if anyone would like to see. All slides move and all valves come unscrewed.

    I've been having a blow for old time's sake today and it still plays beautifully!

    Included in the asking price is the traditional rounded blue case a Denis Wick no.2 mouthpiece, and a lyre.

    Asking price is £700 ono.

    I am based in Swansea.
