I have a Sovereign Euph case which is badly cracked and needs replacing.... anyone got a spare one?
They really are a pile of **** sometimes, I had to replace all the hinges on mine
Might be better to invest in something like this http://www.woodwindandbrass.co.uk/acatalog/euphonium_cases_gigbags.html
The second one down looks pretty good
I've had a Hiscox case for many years and its constructed very well (not to mention a lot cheaper than the B&H style!).
Made in the UK too
If you were to consider new these are the dogs danglies http://www.coldstreamcases.co.uk/index.php?id=44#tab1
£218!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd expect to be able to drive a jcb over it for that price!!!
Don't know how true but have been told that a replacement Besson case would set you back £400 so at a little over half the price seems like a good deal, but still a lot of money :-?
ps. if you bought the "CS-PRO"carbon fibre model you probably could:biggrin:
To emphasise something I didn't put a number to about the Hiscox offerings:
"Suggested UK Retail Price: £162.00"
(I'm nothing to do with them, I just bought one and have been happy with it - I collected direct from the factory and got a discount below RRP on what was graded a "cosmetic second")
